Friends of Northcliffe
The "Friends of Northcliffe" is a local community group which aims to help enhance Northcliffe Woods and Playing Fields for the use of the public, to protect wildlife and preserve the character of this unique area for future generations.

The group has up bird and bat boxes, constructed steps, cleared paths and streams, thinned saplings and endeavoured to clear the non-native Himalayan Balsam from areas of the woodland. Crocuses, daffodils and snowdrops have been planted, sometimes with the help of local children's groups.

Friends of Northcliffe organise three walks through the woods every year and the popular annual summer Rae Gala.
