Shipley’s Annual Bake Festival

Autumn 2012 at the Kirkgate Centre
In a slight change of format, Shipley Cake Festival is widening its remit to encompass baking in all its glory including cakes, tray bakes and breads. To give time for the bread heads to get involved, the festival has been moved back into September - it will be worth the wait!
We hope to make the 2012 Shipley Bake Festival our best ever, with an even bigger emphasis on fun and fantastic creations.
Everyone living or working in Shipley is encouraged to bake bread and cakes and bring them to the Kirkgate Centre for the Shipley Bake Festival. The aim of the festival is to have fun, so you don’t need to be a brilliant cook to enter.
The festival also includes stalls and activities, and we are particularly keen to see more involvement from local schools, colleges and youth groups.
Get involved
The 2012 Bake Festival organising group will start to meet soon. Why not come along and help make Shipley’s Bake Festival the best yet?
